Typography is the art of designing and modifying type. Designing a typography poster is not an easy task. It takes time and patience to learn how to utilize the principles of art correctly. When a poster focuses only on one font, the creator needs to craft the design to make sure that the type is legible, purposeful, and artistic.

 

As we spend time in the computer lab refining our type and design skills we are balancing that with an equal amount of studio time. One of the refresher projects to brush up on our studio skills was a series of perspective drawings.
